Making A Miracle

On your turn, use a card from your hand with a card “On the Cross”

to create a sum of 3 or 7.

You can use addition or subtraction, or play an Angel as a Wild Card.

Here are some examples:

5 + 2 = 7

8 - 1 = 7

1 + 2 = 3

4 - 1 = 3

That makes a Miracle!

Another example includes pairing the Angel card with ANY numerical card.

Take the two cards that created a Miracle and make a “Miracles Pile” next to you.

Continue to criss-cross your Miracles.

Replenish the “On the Cross” cards and draw back up to 5 cards in your hand.

If you can't play, pass your turn.

If no plays are possible, move all “On the Cross” cards to the bottom of the Draw Pile and refresh the “On the Cross” cards.

Stealing a Miracle

Place the Snake card from your hand in front of the player whose Miracle you want to steal.

You will always steal their most recent Miracle.

If the steal is not Challenged, collect their most recent Miracle, put the Snake Card on the bottom and add it to your Miracles Pile.

Challenging A Steal

A player whose Miracle is being stolen can protect it in one of the following ways:

Angel Card Protection

If you play an Angel Card, an "Angel Battle" begins.

Both players reveal their highest NUMERICAL cards until a winner is determined.

The winner of the Angel Battle gains the "Angel Battle” cards as a new Miracle.

(no Miracles are stolen from either player).

Holy Card Overthrow

If you play a Holy Card, you can take the Snake Card as the first Miracle and the Holy Card as the second Miracle.

No further actions can be taken against this.

Snake vs. Snake

Snakes cannot be played against other Snake Cards while trying to steal.

There are two ways Special Cards are played:

The card is flipped over “On the Cross”

The card is drawn “In your Hand”

Holy Cards (God, Jesus and Holy Spirit)

ON THE CROSS:

When a Holy Card is flipped "On the Cross", a player can make a Miracle using ONLY the cards “On the Cross”, they collect the two cards as their Miracle, then the Holy Card as a second Miracle.

The Holy Card is always vulnerable to being stolen as the most recent Miracle gained.

If no Miracle can be made, the next player will get a chance to gain the Holy Card.

Valid Combination Examples (using ONLY cards "On the Cross"):

➢ Two Numeric Cards = Sum of 3 or 7

➢ Angel + Numeric Card

➢ Angel + Angel

➢ Angel + Snake

➢ Snake + Snake

IN YOUR HAND:

Play a Holy Card "From your Hand" to collect two cards that form a Miracle using ONLY the “On the Cross” cards

(refer to the valid combination examples above).

The Holy Card is considered the second Miracle.

Special Cards provide bonuses at the end of the round.

Snake + Snake is only allowed during a Holy Card play.

You cannot play Holy Card + Holy Card.

Holy Cards use ONLY the cards "On the Cross" to make a play.

Angel Card

ON THE CROSS:

When an Angel Card is flipped "On the Cross", pair any numeric card in your hand with the Angel Card to make a Miracle.

When a Holy Card is flipped "On the Cross", pair an Angel card with another card (i.e. a Numeric Card, another Angel or a Snake) from "On the Cross" to create one Miracle.

The Holy Card is considered the second Miracle.

IN YOUR HAND:

Pair with any numeric card "On the Cross" to create a Miracle. You can also defeat a Snake Card that is flipped "On the Cross" and gain one Miracle. It can also protect your Miracle from a Snake attack.

Snake Card

ON THE CROSS:

When a Snake Card is flipped "On the Cross", you can defeat the Snake by using an Angel Card "In your Hand" and gain one Miracle.

Play a Holy Card "From your Hand" to defeat the Snake and pair it with another card (i.e. another Snake or an Angel) from "On the Cross" to gain one Miracle.

The Holy Card is considered the second Miracle.

IN YOUR HAND:

(See the "Stealing a Miracle" section).

Scoring!

When the Draw Pile is exhausted, continue playing until no player can make a move.

Any cards remaining "In Your Hand" or "On the Cross" are not counted toward scoring.

When the game ends, count your Miracles and any Bonus Cards.

Time to count your Miracles and see who earned their halo!

Let’s see who out-blessed the rest and gave the Snakes a divine detour!

Winner

The player with the most Miracles at the end of the round scores 30 points.

If there is a tie, all tied players receive 30 points each.

Bonus Points for Miracles:

Holy Card Bonus: 10 points per Holy Card

Angel Cards: 5 points each

Snake Cards: 3 points each

Blessing Bonus:

If you collect ALL 3 Holy Cards (God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) - You receive a 50-point Blessing Bonus!

End of Game

The game continues until one player reaches 300 points.

That player is declared the winner!

(Shhh!) Tips From Your Guardian Angel

• The 4’s are the most difficult Miracle to pair, they only pair with 1’s.

• Keep high cards "In your Hand" to help you win Angel Battles.

• Make sure to wait until the "On the Cross" cards are flipped before taking your turn. You never know when Jesus will save you!

• Keep an Angel "In your Hand" to protect those Miracles from Snakes or get those Snakes "On the Cross".

Enjoy playing Miracle Makers!
